For almost 40 years Robert Kaplan has been focused on researching, collecting, and working professionally within the scope of the American Arts and Crafts Movement.

The Robert Kaplan Collection is considered by both institutions and private collectors as a preeminent source for noteworthy works including furniture, metalwork, ceramics, and lighting from this period of American Design. Key designers include Gustav Stickley, Greene and Greene, Dirk Van Erp, Charles Rohlfs, Frank Lloyd Wright and the potteries of Grueby, Marblehead, Ohr and Teco, among others.

He has been instrumental in developing several of the most significant private and public collections. Services available include evaluations and appraisals, auction representation, as well as planning collection acquisitions and deaccessions.
